Former Makeup Artist magazine editor and Makeup411.com Beauty Director Shannon Levy opened The Beauty Closet in late 2004, parlaying her love for products and extensive beauty expertise into a retail haven in the Valley for makeup artists and enthusiasts alike.
The boutique carried exclusive cosmetic lines such as Scott Barnes, Kevyn Aucoin, Hourglass and Paul& Joe Beauté as well as makeup bags and brushes by various brands. Fragrances, candles and sought-after beauty accessories like the Beauty Blender and The Lip Scrub by Sara Happ also stock the shelves.
PLEASE NOTE: As of April 1, 2009 The Beauty Closet will no longer have its brick and mortar location in Studio City. It will become an online store only.
